No new youth prison in Amsterdam-Osdorp

State Secretary Teeven of Security and Justice announces that there are no plans for building a youth prison in Amsterdam-Osdorp.

Reports in respect thereof in this morning's De Telegraaf are incorrect. This would constitute destruction of capital, according to the State Secretary, as the Doggershoek institution for juvenile offenders in Den Helder was recently closed.
