‘I want to make even more improvements to the flow of traffic by road and rail and on water. This is something our economy needs urgently. Mobility and the environment go hand in hand. It is my aim to reduce administrative pressure and simplify procedures. This will enable us to optimally expedite decisions and projects. We will be going through lean times in the years ahead and that is why I intend to maximise every euro we invest.’
