Jerusalem bomb attack shocks Rosenthal

Foreign minister Uri Rosenthal said he was shocked about the bomb explosion at a bus stop in Jerusalem yesterday: ‘There is nothing that can justify such an atrocious act of terrorism against civilians.’

Mr Rosenthal also expressed his concern about the increasing use of violence in Gaza and called on both parties to prevent further escalation. He believes an unconditional resumption of the direct peace talks is the only way to a sustainable solution that will meet the legitimate demands of both parties.
