Hirsch Ballin to visit Rwanda

Minister of Justice Ernst Hirsch Ballin will pay a working visit to Rwanda from 19 to 21 June. He will discuss strengthening Dutch-Rwandan ties in the field of justice with Rwandan Minister of Justice Tharcisse Karugarama. In particular, the ministers will talk about the importance of tracing and prosecuting persons suspected of genocide and crimes against humanity.

Mr Hirsch Ballin will also visit the Institute of Legal Practice and Development, the Rwandan Public Prosecution Service and a prison.
