Manual for experts on multidisciplinary cooperation against trafficking in human beings for labour exploitation

This manual is the result of the project TeamWork! Strengthening multidisciplinary cooperation against trafficking for labour exploitation, which was set up in preparation for the Netherlands presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2016. Project TeamWork! is a joint project with Luxembourg, Slovakia and Malta.

The manual is now also available online, as a website. The website contains tips and advice on multidisciplinary cooperation and the roles of different organisations in addressing trafficking in human beings (THB) for labour exploitation. It allows the organisations involved to quickly find information relevant to their organisation and work. The website contains dozens of examples from member states on all aspects of tackling THB for labour exploitation. It also offers background information on the phenomenon. The documents section contains links to many other reports and tools that are available online.

The website and manual are aimed at experts. They are intended to help inspire and strengthen the policy and practice to address trafficking in human beings for labour exploitation of all organisations that could come across it. More specifically, they aim to stimulate multidisciplinary and cross-border cooperation and a comprehensive approach against this phenomenon. Expertise and ideas from experts from all Member States were included in the manual.
