PISA OECD's Programme for International Student Assessment

PISA measures every three years 15-year-olds’ ability to use their reading, mathematics and science knowledge and skills to meet real-life challenges. In 2018, reading skills were the main theme, in 2015 it was science and in 2022 it will be mathematics.

Arising from the results in 2018 and the report thereof in 2019, a number of additional research questions have been set out. This includes amongst others research in the field of equity and equality, reading skills, reading pleasure, differences in outcomes between pupils and motivation.
