Six new patients

On 2 March, six new coronavirus patients were reported to RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment. They are all at home in isolation. This brings the total number of positive novel coronavirus tests in the Netherlands to 24.

Almost all persons diagnosed with the coronavirus are travellers from Northern Italy or family contacts from a previous patient. For some patients, the source of the infection is still unknown and under investigation. The Municipal Public Health Services (GGDs) have started contact investigation.
