Fifteen patients deceased, 346 new patients, in total 2051 positive tested persons

Since yesterday, 346 people have tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. This brings the total number of positive tested people tested to 2051. Among them are 485 people working in health care; they are tested more often than other groups.

Fifteen patients have died from COVID-19 since the last update. A total of 58 people have now died from COVID-19 in the Netherlands. The age of the deceased persons is between 63 and 95 years. A total of 408 patients are or have been admitted to a hospital.

Most of the positive tested people live in the province of Noord-Brabant, namely 759 people. Noord-Brabant is followed by Limburg (265) and Zuid-Holland (241).

New map

Since yesterday, the distribution of the number of positive tested people in the Netherlands is shown with an incidence map. The coloured areas do not represent the total number of positively tested people, but the number per 100,000 inhabitants, since the first patient in the Netherlands. The colour distribution of the map is different today than yesterday. This is because the legend has been changed.
