Prince Constantijn and Stephan Lowery closed the markets at GES
His Royal Highness Prince Constantijn, Special Envoy of StartupDelta and Stephen Lowery, managing director of Silicon Valley Bank, closed the Euronext Amsterdam markets on June 4 by sounding the gong at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES). With this closing ceremony, they joined together to underline the importance of entrepreneurship around the world.
The closing ceremony took place during the International Networking Financials event at GES 2019, which was organized by Brainport Network and Brainport Development. The purpose of this networking event was to connect Dutch investors with specific regional knowledge of the market with international investors.
Investors with valuable knowledge of their sector or region shared this knowledge in order to explore opportunities to collaborate and build long term relationships. Prince Constantijn and Stephen Lowery were invited to take part in the gong ceremony by Maurice van Tilburg, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam. Euronext is the first pan-European exchange, spanning Belgium, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal and the UK.
