Prime Minister Rutte to attend NATO summit in Brussels
Prime Minister Mark Rutte will be attending a NATO summit in Brussels on 25 May 2017.
Topics on the agenda for this meeting of heads of state and government include the transatlantic bond, NATO’s role in fighting terrorism and implementation of the commitments made on defence spending at the 2014 NATO summit in Wales.
The meeting will be held at NATO’s new headquarters. In the presence of the heads of state and government of the member countries, the Belgian government will formally hand over the building to the NATO Secretary-General.
