Behavioural Strategy for Citizens and the Circular Economy
Long-term citizen behavioural strategy and operational approach for achieving a circular economy in the Netherlands by 2050.
The Dutch government has set the target of achieving a fully circular economy by 2050. In the transition to a circular economy, everyone is needed: businesses, governments, and citizens alike. The behavioral strategy "Citizens and Circular Economy" outlines a long-term strategy for changing citizens' behavior. This strategy has served as input for the National Program for Circular Economy 2023-2030 (NPCE). The strategy assists in further implementation and elaboration of the measures included therein, which relate to citizen behavior.
