Minister Broekers-Knol to receive Greek Minister for Migration

On Thursday 10 September, Ankie Broekers-Knol, the Minister for Migration, will be receiving Giorgos Koumoutsakos, the Greek Alternate Minister for Migration and Asylum Policy. The ministers will meet for a working lunch at the Johan de Witthuis in The Hague. Among the topics for discussion will be the Greek-Dutch cooperation to improve the Greek guardianship system and the reception of unaccompanied minor children on the Greek mainland. The proposals related to migration that the European Commission will be presenting later this month will also be discussed.

After the working lunch, Koumoutsakos will meet with members of the Dutch House of Representatives and visit a reception centre for unaccompanied minor foreign nationals run by the Nidos Foundation. On Friday 11 September, the Greek Minister will receive a guided tour of the Ter Apel application centre.
