I hold dual nationality (British and another nationality) and live in the Netherlands. How will Brexit affect me?
If you have British and Dutch nationality, you can live in the Netherlands. The same applies if you are a national of a different European Union (EU) country than the Netherlands, in addition to being British. If you have British nationality and you are a national of another non-EU country too, different rules apply.
You have British nationality and an EU nationality
You can ask your municipality to register your EU nationality as your first nationality in the Personal Records Database (BRP). You won't have to apply for a residence permit because of Brexit.
You have British nationality and another non-EU nationality
If you have British nationality and you are a national of another non-EU country too, the same rules apply to you as apply to British nationals living and working in the Netherlands.
