EU entry ban for travellers from non-EU countries
An EU entry ban is in effect for people from countries outside the European Union. This means they are not allowed to enter the EU or the Schengen area and therefore the Netherlands. There are exemptions to the entry ban, for example for business travellers, students, highly skilled migrants, professionals in the cultural and creative sector, and partners in a long-distance relationship.
People who have been fully vaccinated for 14 days can enter the Netherlands, unless they are travelling from a country that has been designated as a very high-risk area due to the presence of a variant of concern.
