How can I object to the amount of my own contribution towards the costs of long-term care or social support?
If you do not agree with the amount of own contribution you are required to pay under the Chronic Care Act (WLZ) or the Social Support Act (WMO 2015) you can submit an objection to the care administration office or the Central Administration Office (CAK).
You must pay a contribution towards the costs of long-term care and social support. You will be sent a letter telling you how much you have to pay.
Submitting an objection to the CAK or care administration office
You must send your written objection to the CAK (in Dutch) or care administration office within 6 weeks. The letter informing you of the amount of your own contribution will explain how to do this.
