Rutte, Ploumen and Dijksma to visit India
Prime Minister Mark Rutte will be visiting India from 5 to 6 June 2015, accompanied by Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Lilianne Ploumen, Minister for Economic Affairs Sharon Dijksma and a trade delegation. The visit has been organised to further strengthen political and economic ties between the Netherlands and India.
The Netherlands is India’s fourth largest trade partner in the EU, and one of the top five investors in the country. In recent years the value of mutual trade has risen to more than six billion euros. There are many opportunities in India for Dutch companies, especially in agriculture and horticulture, water, health care and sports infrastructure.
