Customs intercept almost 16,000 fake erection pills

On 12 April, Customs incepted almost 16,000 fake erection pills found in the suitcase of a traveller at Schiphol Airport.

The traveller came from Thailand and he was checked by a Dutch Customs officer. The passenger stated not to have any goods with him that he needed to declare. The Customs officer decided nevertheless to check his luggage. During this inspection, Customs found a large amount of erection pills of various brands. On further investigation, it was established by Customs that these were fake erection pills. The import of fake goods is forbidden. The pills were seized and the passenger was reported.

Fake erection pills can be a risk because it is not known how much active substance these pills contain and thus can cause health problems for the user.
