Paul van Musscher new Chief of Police for The Hague
Paul van Musscher (49) will be the new Chief of Police for The Hague. Minister Opstelten of Security and Justice proposed him for appointment. The appointment will be effective as from 1 December 2013.
Mr Van Musscher is currently Head of Operations as well as Deputy Chief of Police for The Hague. After he started his career in 1986 at the National Police Force, he held office in various positions at the police, such as the neighbourhood and community police, the regional criminal investigation department and he was district chief in the regional Central Holland unit. The job opened after Mr Van Essen left who is now a member of the National Police Corps Command as per 1 October.
