Royal decorations

A royal decoration constitutes recognition that someone has rendered exceptional service to society, for example in the form of voluntary work or an outstanding performance in the worlds of sport or scholarship.

Anyone can be nominated for a decoration. Decorations are presented on special occasions or on King's Day.
