Care for veterans

While on deployment, Dutch veterans can be affected by physical or psychological problems.

Professional help and treatment for veterans

A proportion of Dutch veterans with health issues need professional assistance or treatment. Veterans – or their family back home – can turn to the Central Access Point (CAP) of the Netherlands Veterans Institute for support or assistance. The CAP is part of the National System for Veterans’ Care and refers veterans to treatment centres.
