Crisis, national security and terrorism

Crises and disasters, like flu pandemics and terrorist attacks, can disrupt society. But national security can also be jeopardised by crises such as floods or major power failures.

The government has therefore launched a National Security Strategy to catalogue the various risks and prepare the Netherlands for any crisis. By better protecting our critical infrastructure, for instance, and by ensuring that people can fend for themselves in a crisis.
