Ministry of General Affairs

This is the Ministry of the Prime Minister, who is also the Minister of General Affairs. Its tasks are coordination of government policy and communications. The Ministry also issues information on matters concerning the Royal House.

The 1947 Constituent Instrument states that the Ministry is in charge of matters relating to general government policy in the Kingdom, where these are not expressly dealt with by other Ministries. The Ministry's duties as described amount to responsibility for co-ordinating overall government policy.
