When visiting the Ministry, an ID is required. Visitors can identify themselves using a passport, driving licence or identity card. Employees from other ministries can identify themselves using their access pass if the pass bears a name and a passport photo.
Route description
By public transport
The Hague Central is the terminus for trains from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht
and Zoetermeer. Many trams and buses stop at The Hague Central. From The Hague
Central, follow the pedestrian route to the centre.

Pedestrian route
From the railway station follow the signs for the pedestrian route to the city
centre. Across the bridge, turn right onto the Zwarteweg. Walk under the
tram-viaduct and then onto Parnassusplein, which will be on your left after
approximately 30 m. The main entrance to the Ministry of Health, Welfare and
Sport is on the right-hand side of this square.
By car
From Utrecht
Take the A12 in the direction of Prins Clausplein and continue into the centre
of The Hague. Leave the A12 at exit 2 'Den Haag centrum'. At the end of the slip
road, turn left onto the Prins Bernard-viaduct. At the end of the viaduct get in
the left-hand lane, and at the traffic lights double back to the left. Take the
service road which runs parallel to the viaduct and follow the 'Helicon'-signs.
Turn left under the viaduct onto the Oranje Buitensingel. Then turn left on the
second possibility and take a right at the bottom of the arch-bridge. The
entrance to the 'Helicon' car park is on your right in front of the
tram-viaduct.
From Amsterdam / Rotterdam
Take the A4 in the direction of Prins Clausplein. At Prins Clausplein turn onto
the A12 in the direction of 'Den Haag centrum'. Then continue as for 'From
Utrecht'.
