Working for the public good - Strategic government human resources policy 2025

In 2018, the central public administration (Rijksoverheid) reassessed its strategic HRM policy. This resulted into a new strategy. This new long-term agenda, that was adopted by the Cabinet on 13 July 2018, contains 7 new focal points for strategic HR policy.

  1. Permanent profiling and positioning.
  2. Creating an inclusive, and more diverse organisation, especially in the higher grades.
  3. Put people first.
  4. Make the organisation and its employees agile.
  5. Continuous development.
  6. The work experience is paramount.
  7. Public leadership.
