Real-world driving behaviour on 80 kmh Dutch motorways with and without speed enforcement

In September 2024, TNO conducted a measurement campaign to investigate real-world driving behavior on Dutch 80 km/h highways, both with and without speed enforcement. It was found that there is a clear difference in driving behavior between the two highways. On 80 km/h highways without speed enforcement, driving behavior is comparable to that on 100 km/h highways without speed enforcement.
