Filing a complaint about a licence holder’s mediation in an intercountry adoption

Mediation for the adoption of a child from outside the Netherlands takes place via a licence holder. This organisation has been licensed by the Minister van Justitie en Veiligheid –  JenV (Minister for Justice and Security). If you are unhappy about a licence holder’s conduct, you can file a complaint.

Filing a complaint about licence holders for intercountry adoption

Submit your complaint to the Klachtencommissie vergunninghouders interlandelijke adoptie – KVIA (complaints committee for licensees of intercountry adoptions) (in Dutch). You can use this complaints form (in Dutch) to submit your complaint.

You can, for example, submit a complaint about a licence holder (in Dutch) not keeping to agreements, or about the lack of assistance outside the Netherlands.
