You can search the Stolen Bicycles Register to check if a bicycle has been registered as stolen. You can use the register, for example, when buying a second-hand bicycle.

Search the Stolen Bicycles Register
You can search the Stolen Bicycles Register (in Dutch) on the Netherlands Vehicle Authority (RDW) website. If someone has reported the bicycle stolen, it will automatically appear in the register. The register only contains bicycles reported stolen after 1 January 2008.
