Crime and crime prevention

The government wants to reduce crime – from drug dealing, human trafficking and cyber crime to real estate fraud and bicycle theft – by a quarter. It will ensure, for example, that the police, municipalities and intelligence services can quickly exchange descriptions of offenders, fingerprints and car registration numbers.

Local authorities will also be able to screen commercial partners more easily, for example on a large construction project. They will then know with certainty that they are not doing business with criminals.
