Amount of foster care allowance

The foster care allowance is a set amount determined annually by the government. The amount of foster care allowance (in Dutch) depends on the age of your foster child and the number of days your foster child is in your care.

Applying for a foster care allowance

You need to apply for the foster care allowance from the organisation that places the child in your care. This foster care organisation will also pay out the foster care allowance.
