Statement of detention

To let your health insurer know that you are detained, you will need a statement of detention (in Dutch). The statement of detention lists the start date and end date (definite or provisional) of your detention. You can ask for the statement at the detention centre where you are being detained.

Reporting your detention

You must report the fact that you are detained to the healthcare insurer that is responsible for your healthcare insurance.
