Requesting dispensation to marry an adopted brother or sister

In the Netherlands, if you wish to marry, you must meet certain conditions. For example, you are not allowed to marry your biological brother or sister. If you are siblings by adoption, you may be allowed to marry each other. This is formally known as huwelijksdispensatie (dispensation to marry).
