Viewing the vehicle registration register

The kentekenregister (vehicle registration register) contains data about vehicles, such as the make of the vehicle, the date of the algemene periodieke keuring – APK (periodic vehicle inspection) and the fuel economy label. The Rijksdienst voor het Wegverkeer – RDW manages the register.

Viewing the kentekenregister

Where can you view the details of your vehicles in the kentekenregister online (in Dutch)? By visiting the RDW website. Or by making an online or written request to view your own licence plate information (in Dutch).

To access more detailed information on the vehicle or vehicles you own, you can use the Mijn voertuigen service (in Dutch).

Vehicles over the last 9 years

Would you like an overview of details of all vehicles that were previously in your name up to 9 years ago? You can request this via the Mijn voertuigen tot 9 jaar terug bekijken service (in Dutch).
