Applying for kindgebonden budget (child budget)
If you have one or more children below the age of 18, you may be eligible for kindgebonden budget. This is a contribution towards the costs of children up to the age of 18. You will receive this in addition to kinderbijslag (child benefit). The amount of kindgebonden budget depends on your income, how many children you have and how old they are.

Eligibility for kindgebonden budget
To be eligible for a child budget, you must meet certain conditions, e.g. your income must be below a certain level. The website toeslagen.nl sets out all the eligibility requirements for receiving kindgebonden budget.
Applying for kindergebonden budget
If you are entitled to kindgebonden budget, you will automatically be notified by the Dienst Toeslagen. If you have not been notified, but you think you are entitled to receive kindgebonden budget, you can apply for kindgebonden budget via the website toeslagen.nl.
