A growing number of companies are convinced of the importance and benefits of corporate social responsibility (CSR). This means they take account of how their business operations may impact on people, the environment and society. And they take measures such as energy saving, waste separation or hiring people with a disability. The government promotes CSR. It has a sustainable procurement policy and aims to lead by example.
