Suspending a vehicle registration number
If you are not using your vehicle for a long period of time, you can suspend your registration number. You do not have to pay third-party insurance or motor vehicle tax for a vehicle with a suspended registration number. The periodic technical motor vehicle inspection (APK) is likewise not required.
