Applying for recognition of teacher competence for secondary education

Do you teach a voortgezet onderwijs – VO (secondary education) subject for which you are not qualified? Then you must obtain the required qualification as soon as possible. If there is no teacher training course for your subject that results in a teaching qualification, you can apply for recognition of your competence. This is called erkenning bekwaamheid VO (recognition of competence for secondary education).
