On Wednesday 23 September 2026 the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and Brazil concluded a Strategic Cooperation Framework. This Framework aims to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation in areas like trade, climate change, human rights and security. Brazil has been an important and strategic partner of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for 200 years.
