Workforce Insights from Central Governments: Findings of the 2024 OECD/EU Survey of Public Servants
In 2024, the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK) participated in an international comparative study on the work experience of central government employees. This study was conducted by the OECD on behalf of the European Commission (DG REFORM). In the Netherlands, the Personnel Survey of Central Government (PER) was used for data collection. The study provides internationally comparable insights into, among other things, employee engagement, leadership, innovation, and organisational performance within central government. The results support the further development of strategic human resource and organisational policies and enable comparison with other countries.
