Do you want to attend a historic vehicle event with a motor vehicle that is 15 years old or older and whose registration has been suspended? This is possible under the events scheme. The event organiser will arrange this. This allows you to drive the vehicle for a number of days without lifting the suspension.

Registering for the events scheme
The organiser of the event you wish to attend must register the event and your vehicle’s participation with the Dutch Tax Administration. This must be done no later than 2 months in advance.
Conditions for the events scheme
If you want to make use of the events scheme, you must meet certain conditions, such as:
- your vehicle must be insured
- you may only make use of the scheme for a maximum of 8 days per calendar year.
