Applying for a sailplane pilot licence

Do you want to pilot a sailplane in the Netherlands? Then you will need a sailplane pilot licence (SPL). This is a licence for flying a sailplane. You can apply for an SPL at the Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport – ILT (Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate).

SPL conditions 

To obtain an SPL, you must have followed and completed a sailplane training course.
