Appointing a guardian for your minor child
If you want to appoint a guardian for your minor child, you have two options. You can appoint a guardian in the district court’s Parental Authority Register (gezagsregister) or you can appoint a guardian in your will. A guardian has responsibility for a minor child after the death of his/her parent(s).
