Are you in part-time VMBO-tl, HAVO, VWO or VAVO education, and 18 years of age or older? Then you may be eligible for an education allowance.

Conditions for education allowance for part-time students
You must meet certain conditions for an education allowance. For instance, you must be in a part-time programme of at least 270 course minutes per week. If you are doing correspondence courses, you must be taking at least 2 subjects. You will find all of the conditions (in Dutch) on the website of the Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs – DUO (education implementation service).
Request education allowance for part-time students
You can apply to DUO for the allowance. Please use the Aanvraag tegemoetkoming deeltijders (in Dutch) application form.
