In order to achieve a climate-neutral and circular economy by 2050, the Dutch government has set out its goal of minimizing the use of fossil raw materials. This document provides an initial picture of a future chemical sector in the Netherlands, based on sustainable carbon sources (secondary raw materials, biobased raw materials and CO2) and the transition pathway towards its realisation.
