This report presents the Netherlands' fifth review of progress under the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing (MIPAA) and its UNECE Regional Implementation Strategy. It assesses developments over the period 2022–2026, drawing on national data sources, a review of policy documents, policy evaluation and scientific literature, a survey and interviews among stakeholders and a participatory consultation. The review details progress on three policy goals A) Promote active and healthy ageing throughout life, B) Ensure access to long-term care and support carers and families, and C) Mainstream ageing to advance a society for all ages.
