Have you attained an academic degree outside the Netherlands? You can use these qualifications to apply for a Dutch title. Examples of Dutch titles are ingenieur (ir.) (engineer), meester (mr.) (master) and doctor (dr.) (doctor).

Criteria for applying for a Dutch title
You can only apply for a Dutch title if your qualification is a recognised tertiary education qualification and the programme you completed is of equal value to a similar Dutch programme. These conditions will be assessed by the Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs – DUO (education implementation service).
