You must always let the water company know when you move house. If you move house, you may need to switch to a different water company.
The same water company at your new address
If you have the same water company at your new address, you must let it know of your change of address. You should also give it the water meter readings for both your old address and your new address. Ask the water company on which day you should do this. It will then send you the final bill for your old address.

A different water company at your new address
If you have a different water company at your new address, you must cancel your contract with your previous water company. You can cancel your water contract at any time. Check with the company to find out on which day you should give it your water meter reading. It will then send you the final bill for your old address. You must also register with the new water company. You can do this from the day you receive the keys to your new home.
