Boosting the position of the Netherlands

The Dutch Finance Ministry works actively to further boost the position of the Netherlands as a world financial centre.  Government initiatives to raise the position of the financial sector here and to improve the business climate for financial institutions in the Netherlands include the following:  

  • The Innovation Room, which foreign and domestic companies can use to more easily market their products and services in the Netherlands;
  • Asset pooling, where various financial institutions pool investment capital;
  • The Holland Financial Centre, which helps foreign financial institutions, for example, that wish to locate in the Netherlands.
