Filing a complaint with the Central Disciplinary Committee for the Healthcare Sector
The Central Disciplinary Committee for the Healthcare Sector handles complaints about healthcare professionals.
You can only make a complaint (in Dutch) about:
- healthcare professionals who fall under disciplinary law. These professionals are listed in the BIG register for individual healthcare professionals.
- a situation that has to do with disciplinary standards in the healthcare sector. For example if your healthcare professional makes a mistake during an operation or breaches their professional duty of confidentiality.
Advice from a disciplinary complaints officer
Are you not sure if the Central Disciplinary Committee for the Healthcare Sector is the right place for your complaint? Or do you need help writing your complaint? A disciplinary complaints officer can provide guidance and advice (in Dutch).
