Conditions for debt cancellation for additional scholarship
When will the Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs – DUO (education implementation service) cancel the debt of your additional scholarship in full? Or in part? It will do so under certain conditions, such as if your income is low. All cancellation conditions are on the DUO website.
Request debt cancellation for additional scholarship
If you are eligible for debt cancellation, DUO will automatically send you a letter. This will occur in your second year of debt repayment. You may also request the additional scholarship debt cancellation on the DUO website.
